[ .. yeah, that does sound par for the course as to what he's heard about Jun's life back home, huh. Maybe he might not have the full picture, but-- that doesn't matter. All Daniel has to know is that the other has had a rough time back home, and the other's distrust towards adults made it pretty clear that had something to do with it.

Daniel tries to not think too hard about it right now. He's already been feeling his heart sinking with worry over all these kids so much lately, and he can't help them if his emotions get out of control enough to become corrupted. Just-- breathe. Just balance, he thinks.
