[ There's a slight hum from Daniel - mostly in agreement to that last part. His belief falters a little at private moments, but he still believes there has to be more going on.

Even though that's incredibly worrisome in and of itself. ]

You can talk to him. Though maybe it's better to not talk to him about.. this. [ Given what a disaster trying to talk to Robby about it himself had turned out to be. The last thing he wants to do is accidentally make the kids fight amongst themselves too. ] But I..

[ Daniel pauses. Breathes in.

The man tries really hard to just sound calm as he speaks on, rather than worried. Rather than sad. He can't be sad when he has to be strong for these kids, Jun included. ]

I think he could use company. Friends to talk to. You know?

[ Talk about a callout. It makes Daniel tightly press his lips together for a moment, glad that this is just an audio call, so Jun can't see that. Because he's hitting the nail on the head here - Daniel really does feel troubled about all of this.

Especially when it feels like there's so little he can do about any of it, and the more time passes, the more the situation slips through his fingers, getting out of control. ]

You don't have to worry. I'm not the one getting manipulated by someone. [ Because, you know.. that's clearly the only reason anyone could need someone else to talk to, right.. ] Things are a little tough right now, but we'll find some solution to it.

[ It's not like he hasn't said that already, but.. it bears repeating. Not because he thinks Jun is reckless in any way, but purely because Daniel is just that worried about the kids. All of them. Jun included. ]
